Information:Anime Detour is a weekend convention dedicated to anime, manga, and Japanese culture. Taking place March 23 to 25 in Bloomington, Minnesota, this is “a convention run by fans for fans…” Anime Detour is open to people of all ages and interests related to the Japanese cartoon arts. There will be opportunities to make, do, learn, and discuss a wide range of anime related stuff. Panel discussions will facilitate the intellectual aspects of anime appreciation, while a dance party and costume contest will allow fans to express their playful sides. Of course, organizers encourage everyone to participate in all the events available.
