Anime Convention

Naka-Kon celebrates diverse elements Japanese popular culture including anime, manga, cosplay, music and more. We also present educational activities that explore traditional Japanese culture. Naka-Kon, held in Overland Park, Kansas, is the largest and oldest anime convention in the Kansas City metro area.

Each year, Naka-Kon invites an array of voice actors and manga artists, who host a variety of panels and events designed to educate and entertain both current anime enthusiasts and those who wish to learn more about the American otaku subculture. We also feature exciting panels by attendees, cosplay contests, anime screenings, video and tabletop gaming, musical presentations and an interactive story event. Don't miss a moment of the fun!
