| Biography: | Shannon Denton is a veteran storyteller and artist. From 1995 - 1999 he contributed to the design and development of almost every action adventure show produced by the Fox Kids Network including the X-Men, Spider-man, and the Annie-nominated Silver Surfer series. Denton has written Hihi Puffy Ami Yumi at Cartoon Network, storyboarded on Danny Phantom for Nickelodeon, Juniper Lee for Cartoon Network, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for Fox, and Krypto & Teen Titans for the WB among others. He has had the opportunity to work for every major comics publisher on projects ranging from Superman to Spawn to Star Wars. In 2000, Denton co-founded Komikwerks, which publishes the work of professional artists of animation, video games, comics, and live action. In 2001, he won the Readers Choice Red Kryptonite Award. Shannon is acting as a creative consultant on The World of Quest at Warner Bros. which his company Komikwerks will be publishing this summer along with their new line of illustrated novels under the Actionopolis banner. He and frequent collaborator Keith Giffen have books out this summer from TokyoPop, Arcana and Image. |
