Biography:
91.8 The Fan started off as just a podcast about the online game, Pangya, back in 2008. After two years of social networking at different conventions, they were able to launch an online radio website in January of 2009 devoted to anime and its fans.
91.8 The Fan exists to provide contemporary style radio for anime and manga fans with the hottest tunes from Japan, Korea, and China. 91.8 is not an automated playlist, and instead functions as a 24/7 live radio station with DJs, interviews, and contests. It promotes legal ways to consume the media via free releases, online streaming, and more.
91.8 has featured some of the most popular voice actors in the industry. With over 250 interviews with the hottest names in voice acting, music, and the industry you love in their archives, 91.8 The Fan has an interview just for you.
