J-F Bibeau
Cosplayer
Baltimore, MD USA
Biography:
J-F Bibeau is a full-time all-around artist: writing, acting, cosplay, improv, dancing, comedy, modeling, hosting, nuclear physicist (one of those doesn't belong; take a wild guess). He is the author of Felsic Current, the fantasy novel that's been gaining nonstop acclaim and waves of fans since last year. His first short play was produced in Baltimore last year, and his second one is premiering this year on the same weekend as T-MODE. See what you're missing by attending some pesky convention? His first full-length play, Self, Inc. will be produced this summer by Fells Point Corner Theatre in Baltimore (July 14-31, 2011, including the Thursday before Otakon). His second novel is scheduled for release at Balticon over Memorial Day weekend.
He achieved the level of Master Cosplayer in 2009 at Costume-Con with his Alien costume. He has committed a plethora of lovely cosplay mistakes and blunders from which he has learned tremendously, and is eager to share with others. Outside the realm of raw craftsmanship, one of his specialties revolves around the personification and modeling of his chosen cosplay characters.
Convention Guest Appearances:
T-MODE 2011 - April 15-17 in Rockville, MD
Cape & Kimono 2011 - October 1-2 in Québec, QC
