Biography:
Formed in 2008 under the name "The Game Show Gurus", Florida Whammy Entertainment is a not-for-profit organization that designs, operates and performs various Game Show oriented programming for specially focused audiences (anime, genre, fandom conventions and events).

Specializing in anime themed Game Shows, their highly experienced team of programmers, artists, animators, writers, hosts, announcers, production assistants, researchers and producers have created and developed shows and programming for a number of regionally and nationally known fan conventions and events focusing and specializing in a variety of genres in popular culture, Japanese culture, Otaku culture, and other various cultures.

Florida Whammy Entertainment is a professionally driven group of people that are game show and anime fans and have always wanted to see their favorite game show turned into an otaku affair.

Florida Whammy Entertainment is the name of the group of guys that produce otaku game shows across Florida and are quickly expanding throughout the southwest. With 4 years of experience under their belt, "Season 5" as they call it, is full of excitement for them. Being die hard game show and anime fans from childhood, one day 2 of them got together and said "Hey, let's come up with a solution to these poorly done "Who's line is it Anime" and all these other "gameshows" and do our own! 5 years later and 3 more friends added, you have the modern incarnation of FWE. From Press Your Luck to Password, to Lingo and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, FWE does it all!

At the end of 4 years, FWE has appeared at more than 15 conventions across the United States, mostly located in Florida providing programming, or providing an appearance and assisting in other event programming.

FWE has been providing quality entertainment for 4 years now, and continues to grow each year. FWE houses a staff of about 25 people, most of them providing support services to the team in their spare time.

FWE strives to provide an entertainment experience that will leave participants and audience members with a lasting impression on both FWE and the host convention/venue/show that they are at.
