Biography:
A graduate of art and design schools, Mr. Hidenori Matsubara is a character designer, illustrator, and animation director who used to work at GAINAX and is now working for Khara. Mr. Matsubara is best known for his character design work on the Oh My Goddess! series and the Sakura Wars series and games. He also served as the key animation for the Neon Genesis Evangelion series and the art director and design for the Evangelion movies. Mr. Matsubara's many other credits also include Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo, Appleseed, Wolf's Rain, Perfect Blue, Otaku no Video, etc
