Lawrence Stuckey, T-MODE chairman, passes away

AnimeCons.com has just received word that Lawrence Stuckey, the chairman of T-MODE, has unexpectedly passed away. His wife, Sharvonique Renee Fortune-Stuckey, who is also the vice chairman of T-MODE, announced her husband's passing on the T-MODE web site.

"Lawrence was the heart and soul of T-MODE," said Sharvonique, "and he worked tirelessly for the convention to succeed and to grow into something truly unique and special."

At this time, the future of T-MODE is uncertain. The convention is currently looking for thoughts and support from anime and gaming fans in hope of keeping Lawrence's vision alive.

Lawrence was an active member of the AnimeCons.com Forums with his most recent post on March 9th.
