Ikasucon 2009 announces first round of confirmed guests

FORT WAYNE, INDIANA - APRIL 5, 2009 - Ikasucon is pleased to announce its first group of Guests of Honor who are confirmed to attend Ikasucon 2009.

Confirmed to attend are Fullmetal Alchemist voice actors Travis Willingham ("Roy Mustang") and Wendy Powell ("Envy"), as well as manga artist Jeremy Mauney ("Fist of the North Star"), and Archaic Jump Productions' executive chairman Harlan Watkins and lead concept artist Mariah Watkins.

"With the new series of Fullmetal Alchemist airing in Japan starting today, Ikasucon is honored to host Wendy and Travis for the first time at our convention," said Dustin Riley, the convention's Relations Director.

ABOUT IKASUCON: Entering its seventh year, Ikasucon is Indiana's premier Japanese animation and pop culture convention. Its unique mix of themed events, educational panels and workshops, and screenings of the latest series, Ikasucon draws over 1,000 attendees to Fort Wayne and the Grand Wayne Convention Center each year. Ikasucon will be held August 7-9, 2009 for its third year in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
